â- BMI Faculty Meeting is Thursday, October 4th, 11:30am, 7364 Scott Hall. The Immunology & Microbiology faculty will meet for a few more minutes following the BMI faculty meeting.

Please mark your calendar for this date to attend & support our students.
â- Immunology in the News. The Nobel Assembly at Karolinska Institutet will award the 2018 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine jointly to James P. Allison (University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center) and Tasuku Honjo (Kyoto University) "for their discovery of cancer therapy by inhibition of negative immune regulation." Read more.

â- "Mark the Date": Department of Ophthalmology, Visual and Anatomical Sciences (OVAS) is organizing the 5th Annual Vision Research Workshop on October 10th, 2018 (Wednesday). It's a one-day event hosted at the Kresge Eye Institute with the goal to highlight the research accomplishments of OVAS trainees (graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, residents, and clinical fellows).
