â- BMI Faculty meeting is Thursday, October 10, 2019, 11:30am, 7364 Scott Hall.

â- At Wayne State University's Chuan-Pu Lee, Ph.D. Endowed Graduate Student Research Presentation Day (GSRPD), a student-organized event showcasing graduate student STEM research, Kendall Muzzarelli and Ali-Rida Beydoun, both from the Kovari lab, won 'Honorable Mention Recipient' with a $250 award. Kendall's poster title is "Structure-based design and evaluation of peptidomimetic inhibitors against the human Norovirus protease," and Ali's poster title is "Drug design studies of Zika virus protease inhibitors."

â- The OVPR is offering a free research development seminar on a post award subject: Using Researcher's Dashboard, Thursday, October 24, 2019, 12:45 p.m. - 2:15 p.m., Margherio Conference Center. See attached "Dashboard flyer" for the details.
