News: 

• BMI Faculty meeting is Thursday, August 18, 2022, Scott Hall Room 7364 & via Zoom.  
• BMI New Student Portrait Session is scheduled for all new Winter and Fall 2022 Students in BMI Program.  Student portraits are for inclusion in the departmental website https://biochemmicroimmuno.med.wayne.edu/ 
  • Date: Monday, September 19, 2022  
  • Times: 11:30am-12:30pm and 1:30pm-2:30pm   
  • Location: Medical Communications Department, Scott Hall, Room 1367   
  • For Assistance: James Jackson and April Wolak will be present and available on the first floor of Scott Hall during the event to assist with locating the Medical Communications Department in room 1367, where the portraits will be taken.

Upcoming Events: 

• BMI Department Picnic will be Friday, August 26^th, at Belle Isle Park, starting at 11.00 am, at Shelter 3, Belle Isle Park. BMI Social Committee will be coming around to labs to collect donations. Suggested donations are: $5 for students & $20 for faculty. All donations are greatly appreciated. You can also electronically donate via PayPal to Emiley Swensen (@emzi123). 
  • The Student Social Committee will be providing the main dish, which will be catered by Slows To Go. Alcohol is permitted but will not be provided. Sides or extra dishes to pass are more than welcome.
