News: 

• Today is Fall 2022 Orientation Day.  Welcome to all new BMI students joining us today. 
• Congratulations to BMI Professor, Dr. David Evans, for being selected as a recipient of the Wayne State University School of Medicine’s College Teaching Award.  
• Congratulations to BMI CMMG Affiliate, Dr. Iris Sun, for being selected as a recipient of the Wayne State University School of Medicine’s Research Excellence Award - Basic Science. 
• A big Thank You goes out today to the BMI Social Committee for another successful BMI picnic at Belle Isle.  
  • A special thanks to Emiley Swensen for making the catering arrangements, and for everyone who pitched in to put it all together.

  • Location: Medical Communications Department, Scott Hall, Room 1367   
  • For Assistance: James Jackson and April Wolak will be present and available on the first floor of Scott Hall during the event to assist with locating the Medical Communications Department in room 1367, where the portraits will be taken.
