I am saddened by the news of Dr. Danica Dabich’s passing. My link to Dr. Dabich was through our mutual graduate student, an M.S. in Biochemistry and my first Ph.D. student in Immunology (Citation: James W. Geyer and Yi-chi M. Kong. Tolerance Induction to a Thymus-Dependent Antigen in Vitro: Treatment of Nonadherent Cells with Tolerogen Biologically Filtered in Vitro. Cellular Immunology 13:447-458, 1974). She was well-respected by her students and colleagues.
