• “Congratulations to IM Ph.D. Candidate Isabella Cubillejo for presenting her work in Okinawa, Japan for the 57th United States-Japan Cooperative Medical Science Program-Joint Panel Conference on Cholera and Other Bacterial Enteric Infections.”  

•  Congratulations to the two following BMI Students for completing their thesis defense: 

♦ BMB Masters Student Duncan Smith,for his Master of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, thesis defense title: “Investigating the Metal Ion Transport and Structure-Function Relationships of Zinc Transporters Using Escherichia Coli”.

♦ IM Masters Student Fady Bidawit, for his Master of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular  Biologythesis defense - no public defense, title: “Current Cholera Research with a Focus on the ToxT Transcription Factor”
