News:

  • The BMI Department Holiday Event is Friday, December 9th, 11:30am-3:00pm, 7th floor of Scott Hall, Room 7370.  See following message from the BMI Social Committee.

    BMI faculty and students,

Your BMI Social Committee is happy to announce that the BMI Winter Holiday Party is right around the corner! We have lots of fun and good food planned to be shared with everyone, however, we are still in need of donations. Please forward electronic donations to @emzi123 via PayPal or cash donations to Emiley, Nouran, or Olivia before Friday, Dec. 9th. Catering is expensive and we need all the help we can get! The event will begin at 11:30am and run until 3:00pm. Food will be available by 12:00 noon.

The main entrees from Shield’s Pizzeria will include signature pizzas, herb chicken, roasted redskins, fettuccini alfredo, veggies, and a garden salad. If you are interested in bringing a side dish to share, please do so.

We will have a hot chocolate bar set up (current available toppings are miniature marshmallows and candy canes) to pair well with a cinnamon cranberry punch.

There will be a white elephant gift exchange, as well as an ugly sweater contest (custom prizes for the winners).

We will have some holiday music playing to keep the spirit alive, board games (bring your own and share the fun), and ornaments to decorate (to hang on our tree or take home as souvenirs). We look greatly look forward to the fun and hope you as well.

    Cheers,
    BMI Social Committee
    Emiley, Nouran, & Olivia
