- BMI Department Social Event: “Surviving the Semester” is happening this week at Garden Bowl, The Majestic Theatre Center, 4140 Woodward Avenue, on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, 6-8pm.
Upcoming Events
- The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences is hosting: 2026 Mid-Atlantic Graduate Student Symposium (MAGSS) at Wayne State University, Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy Health Sciences, 259 Mack Avenure, Midtown Detroit, MI, July 12-14, 2026, for a 1.5-day conference.
MAGSS conference is devoted to researchers at all stages of their career who are interested in the sciences behind drug discovery, drug development, and drug action. MAGSS presents a valuable professional development opportunity for graduate students and postdoctoral researchers to network with career professionals and obtain experience communicating their science to a multi-disciplinary audience.
Keynote Speakers: Dr. William Roush (Head of Small Molecular Research at Odyssey Therapeutics) and Dr. Barbara Slusher (Director of John Hopkin’s Drug Discovery program).
Registration Deadline: June 28th and the deadline for abstract submission is July 6, 2026
