• We have some very sad news to report. Dr. David Evans, a BMB/BMI faculty member for 50 years, passed away last week. Dr. Evans joined the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 1976 and was still actively teaching this semester before he became ill. Dr. Evans was a distinguished researcher and educator, as well as a supportive colleague and will be missed by all of us in BMI. A funeral mass for Dr. Evans will be held on Saturday, 28 March, at 11 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church (47650 N. Territorial Rd, Plymouth, MI) followed by lunch at Antonio’s restaurant at 1 pm.
