  • Because of travel complications due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Vera Fay Righthand Lecture in Virology scheduled for Tuesday April 14 will be postponed indefinitely.
  • Dr. Pellett published an article “Clinical Diagnostic Testing for Human Cytomegalovirus Infections” in Journal of Infectious Diseases (link), in collaboration with investigators from Mayo Clinic, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, University of Bologna (Bologna, Italy), Gifu Pharmaceutical University (Gifu, Japan), and University of Alabama Birmingham.
  •  The SURE (Summer Undergraduate Research Experience) program application deadline is March 13, 2020. There’s still time for eligible students to apply. If you have a student in mind, please pass along the attached flyer information to him/her.
  •  E-waste recycling (computers, monitors, printers, other electromechanical equipment) is still ongoing. If you have items in Scott Hall or the Lande Building to dispose of, contact April awola@med.wayne.edu in the BMI Office.
