News:

  • Reminder: Election Day (tomorrow, Nov. 8) is a WSU holiday.  No classes, and offices will be closed.

  • We have a new battery recycling bucket in our main office next to the mailboxes for everyone to use. The old battery recycling bucket in Mel’s old lab space will no longer be used and will be removed.

  • BMI Social Committee Message - BMI Holiday Party
    • BMI faculty and students,
Thank you to all who participated in our survey last week. The general consensus revealed Friday, December 9th to be the most preferred date for the BMI Holiday Party. So, we are going to be hosting this year’s BMI Holiday Party then: Friday, December 9th, 11:30 – 3:00 pm in our shared space on the 7th floor of Scott Hall. While the fine details are in the works; we are planning on having Shields Pizzeria cater for the main entrees for lunch. If you are interested in bringing a side dish (appetizer, dessert, and/or drinks) to share, please sign up on our sheet posted outside the BMI 7th floor office. If people are interested in volunteering to set up the spaces beforehand, please reach out to any of us on the BMI Social Committee – we will gladly accept any additional help! Current donation suggestions are $20 for faculty and $5 for students. Please drop off cash donations to Emiley Swensen at 6225 Scott Hall or submit electronic donations via PayPal (@emzi123).
      Cheers,
BMI Social Committee: Emiley, Olivia & Nouran
