My research interests include the activity, regulation, and potential manipulation of the innate immune system.

Research Focus

Our lab studies the mechanisms and effects of inflammasome activation. Although primarily concerned with the NLRP3 inflammasome, we also have interest in other inflammasomes, namely AIM2.
