Research

My research interests include the development of a Zika virus protease inhibitor that could potentially provide a novel treatment.

Research Focus

The goal of my research project is to develop and optimize inhibitors of the Zika virus NS2B/NS3 protease. By optimizing identified inhibitors to have low toxicity and good cell permeability, we would be one step closer to pinpointing a treatment for Zika virus infection.
