Research

I am passionate about taking the physician-scientist path, with a focus on transplant infectious diseases. During my clinical rounds at Karmanos Cancer Institute, I developed a strong interest in Cytomegalovirus (CMV) and its impact on immune reconstitution in allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant (allo-HSCT) recipients. This clinical exposure sparked a deeper curiosity about host-pathogen interactions and immune recovery. I am now especially interested in immunology and in leveraging computational biology to study immune profiling, biomarker discovery, and precision medicine in immunocompromised hosts.
