News: 

• Congratulations to Aliza Fatema, from the He lab, for successfully defending her MS thesis in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, "Mechanism of P2X7R mediated NLRP3 inflammasome activation."

• The ChemiDoc imaging system has been installed in the shared equipment room 7241 and is fully operational. A training session has been scheduled for Monday 7/26 at 10 am. Please contact Nathan Kelley nkelley@wayne.edu if you are interested in attending so he may coordinate with the training technician.

• The BMI Department Picnic is Friday, August 27th (the Friday before classes start). It will be at Belle Isle
